There's just no better place to buy fresh fruits and
vegetables than at a farmers' market. You can get corn that was picked just hours before;
you can talk directly to the apple grower about the relative merits of Spitzenburgs and
Black Twigs and you can sample delicious old-fashioned varieties of fruits and vegetables
that just aren't available at the grocery store.
